Big family event a complete success despite the rain

This year, Karl Knauer KG's summer party wasn't just centred on its employees; the doors and gates were also opened to their families to show the company's appreciation and to give them a chance to get to know their family members' workplace.

The event was extremely popular despite the rainy weather, once again highlighting the strong sense of connection employees and their families have with the company. As at previous summer and Christmas parties, numerous food trucks were on hand to offer a diverse selection of delicious food, leaving no wish unfulfilled. 

Guided tours of the company were a particular highlight of the day. The large turnout reflected a keen interest in taking a look behind the scenes. The tour took visitors through both administration and production areas. Visitors were particularly impressed by how the production processes were presented. Samples were laid out by the machines showing the various stages of printing, punching and gluing. This gave visitors the opportunity to see the precise and innovative work up close and learn more about the company's diverse work processes.

FV Biberach were there to provide valuable support in setting up and dismantling the tent and serving drinks. There was plenty to do for the younger guests as well, even though the rain put a temporary stop to the children's planned bouncy castle entertainment. The Fliegerkiste daycare centre made sure that the youngsters had lots of fun with glitter tattoos, a painting table and a puppet show.
