Should you avail yourself of our services, it is normally the case that only the data is collected which is required in order to provide such services. Should we request additional data, this is deemed to be voluntary information. Personal data is exclusively processed in order to provide the requested service and in order to safeguard our own legitimate business interests.

Purpose of the personal data

We generally use the personal data which you provide in order to answer your questions, process your orders or to grant you access to certain information or offers. The maintaining of customer relationships can also make it necessary for us or a service provider acting on our behalf to use this personal data to inform you of product offers which could be of benefit to your business activities or in order to conduct online surveys so that we can do more justice to the tasks and demands of our customers.

We obviously respect you not wishing to provide us with personal data in order to support our customer relationship (especially for direct marketing or market research purposes). Neither will we sell your personal data to third parties, nor will we market it in any other form.

Use for a specific purpose

We only collect, process and use the personal data you provide online for the purpose which we will inform you of. A transferring of your personal data to a third party only takes place with your required approval.

The collection of personal data and its transfer to state institutions and authorities which have an entitlement to receive such data only takes place within the scope of the pertinent acts of law or should we be subjected to a court order to do so. Our employees and the service providers acting on our behalf have been subjected to a duty of discretion and to adherence to the provisions of the German Data Protection Act. 

Non-personal data which is automatically recorded

The following data is stored on organisational and technical grounds when using our website: the names of the accessed pages, the used browser and operating system, the date and time of access, used search machines, the names of downloaded files and your IP address.

We analyse this technical data in an anonymous form and merely for statistical purposes, in order to enable us to continuously optimise our website and make our online offers even more attractive. This anonymised data is stored on secure systems, separate from personal data and does not enable a person to be identified. Your personal data and your private sphere are therefore protected at all times. 


It is possible that we will store information in the form of a cookie on your computer when you access one of our websites. Cookies are small text files which are transferred from a web server to your browser and can then be stored on the hard drive of your computer.

No personal data of the user whatsoever is stored, but merely the Internet Protocol address. This information has the purpose of automatically recognising you when you return to our websites, thereby making navigation easier. Cookies enable us to adapt a website to your interest.

You can obviously also view our websites without cookies. Use of Facebook Plug-ins

Plug-ins from the social network, operated by Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA (“Facebook“), are used on these webpages. When you access one of the webpages on our website that contains such a plug-in, a connection to the Facebook servers will be established and the plug-in will appear on the webpage via communication with your web browser. This transmits information to Facebook regarding which of our websites you have visited. If you are simultaneously logged in as a Facebook member, then Facebook will associate this information with your personal Facebook user account. When using the plug-in functions (e.g., clicking the “Like” button, submitting a comment) this information will also be associated with your Facebook account. Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a website analysing service from Google Inc. („Google“). Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies“, text files which are stored on your computer, enabling an analysis to be performed on your use of the website. The information concerning your use of this website and which is generated by the cookie is transferred to a Google server in the USA, where it is stored. If you should activate the IP anonymization on this website, your IP address will nevertheless be abbreviated in European Union member states or in other European Economic Area contracting states by Google in advance. The complete IP address will only be transferred to a Google server in the USA in exceptional circumstances, where it is then abbreviated by Google. All of our employees and all external parties participating in the data processing have been subjected to a duty to adhere to the provisions of the German Data Protection Act and the confidential handling of personal data. 

In the case of personal data being collected and processed, the information is transferred in an encrypted form in order to prevent the data being subjected to third party abuse. Our security measures are continuously revised in keeping with technological developments.
