The Protection of your data is our concern

We are pleased that you are interested in our company, our products and services and want you to feel safe as far as the protection of your personal data is concerned when you visit our website; we take the protection of your personal data very seriously. The adherence to the provisions of the German Data Protection Act is a matter of course for us.

We would like to inform you which data we collect and how we use them. We have adopted technical and organisational measures which ensure that the data protection provisions are not only observed by us, but also by external service providers.

Personal Data

Personal data is information concerning your identity; examples of this being information such as your name, address, telephone number and your email address. Your use of our website does not necessitate the provision of your personal data. In certain cases however, we require your name and address together with additional information so that we can provide the service you request.

This also has validity for the sending of information and ordered merchandise or for the answering of your specific questions for example. We inform you of this accordingly should this be required. We otherwise only store and process data which you have provided us with voluntarily or automatically.

Should you avail yourself of our services, it is normally the case that only the data is collected which is required in order to provide such services. Should we request additional data, this is deemed to be voluntary information. Personal data is exclusively processed in order to provide the requested service and in order to safeguard our own legitimate business interests.

Purpose of the personal data

We generally use the personal data which you provide in order to answer your questions, process your orders or to grant you access to certain information or offers. The maintaining of customer relationships can also make it necessary for us or a service provider acting on our behalf to use this personal data to inform you of product offers which could be of benefit to your business activities or in order to conduct online surveys so that we can do more justice to the tasks and demands of our customers.

We obviously respect you not wishing to provide us with personal data in order to support our customer relationship (especially for direct marketing or market research purposes). Neither will we sell your personal data to third parties, nor will we market it in any other form.

Use for a specific purpose

We only collect, process and use the personal data you provide online for the purpose which we will inform you of. A transferring of your personal data to a third party only takes place with your required approval.

The collection of personal data and its transfer to state institutions and authorities which have an entitlement to receive such data only takes place within the scope of the pertinent acts of law or should we be subjected to a court order to do so. Our employees and the service providers acting on our behalf have been subjected to a duty of discretion and to adherence to the provisions of the German Data Protection Act.

Non-personal data which is automatically recorded

The following data is stored on organisational and technical grounds when using our website: the names of the accessed pages, the used browser and operating system, the date and time of access, used search machines, the names of downloaded files and your IP address.

We analyse this technical data in an anonymous form and merely for statistical purposes, in order to enable us to continuously optimise our website and make our online offers even more attractive. This anonymised data is stored on secure systems, separate from personal data and does not enable a person to be identified. Your personal data and your private sphere are therefore protected at all times.

When using the plug-in functions (e.g., clicking the “Like” button, submitting a comment) this information will also be associated with your Facebook account.
