Karl Knauer kicks off the year with a new management team

The new year has seen a management change at packaging specialist Karl Knauer. Managing Director Michael Deronja, who has until now headed the company together with Stefanie Wieckenberg, granddaughter of company founder Karl Knauer, stepped down from his position at the end of last year for personal reasons and has returned to his home town. “I would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Mr Deronja for his commitment and wish him all the best for his future,” said Managing Partner Stefanie Wieckenberg upon Deronja’s departure.

Two colleagues, Nicki Eberle and Marco Manna, have been appointed to the new management team, which now comprises three members. Eberle joined Karl Knauer in October 2022 and has been Head of Production since then. In his role as a managing director, he will oversee all technical areas of the company going forward.

Marco Manna has been active as Head of Human Resources and Finance/Controlling at Karl Knauer since July 2020 and will now take on the role of Commercial Managing Director in the management team. “I am looking forward to working with Mr Manna and Mr Eberle and am confident that the three of us will manage our family business with continued success,” says Wieckenberg.
