Four glasses, one solution
Shatterproof packaging and co-packing from a single source
At the heart of the campaign is a set of glasses: each prize consists of four long drink or cocktail glasses, presented in an outer carton designed in the respective brand look – Campari, Aperol or Crodino.
Secure packaging for shipping glass products
The initial situation: the Black Forest-based packaging specialist was tasked with transferring the supplied glasses from standard six-pack transit cartons into a shipping-ready set of four – attractively presented and suitable for direct dispatch to the winners.
Karl Knauer’s solution is a robust, laminated corrugated board packaging with precisely fitting cardboard inserts that securely hold each glass in place and reliably protect against breakage during shipping. At the same time, the construction supports a brand-appropriate unboxing experience. The packaging is made entirely from corrugated board and is therefore fully recyclable.
Development, production and co-packing from a single source
In addition to construction and production, Karl Knauer also handled the complete co-packing process at its Biberach site. There, the glasses were removed from the supplied six-pack cartons, placed into the newly developed four-pack packaging and supplemented with a prize draw flyer provided by the customer.
“We develop packaging solutions that combine product presentation, protection and logistics,” explains the responsible Senior Key Account Manager at Karl Knauer, Frederik Zecheus. “With well-thought-out construction and precisely fitting inserts, we create packaging that meets both marketing and logistics requirements.”
“Our prize draw sets arrive safely with the winners and also impress in terms of presentation. With Karl Knauer, the implementation worked perfectly – from packaging through to the finished execution,” said the premium spirits manufacturer.
By combining intelligent structural design, brand-appropriate aesthetics and efficient co-packing, the prize draw sets not only deliver strong visual appeal but also reach recipients safely and intact.
