Eight new apprentices start their careers at Karl Knauer
Diverse training opportunities
Karl Knauer has succeeded in recruiting apprentices for seven different vocational areas this year, including business management assistant, packaging technologist, print technologist and IT specialist positions. The company focuses on practical and future-oriented training to give tomorrow's professionals the best possible start to their careers. An internship prior to the start of training, as a way of apprentices and the company getting to know each other, is now a compulsory prerequisite. Parents of the new apprentices also had the opportunity to familiarise themselves with the training company as part of a site visit in June.
A tradition of dedicated training
Karl Knauer sets great store by the quality of its training and supports its apprentices with a comprehensive training programme covering both technical and social skills. “We are proud to once again welcome such a committed group of young talents to our company this year. Our apprentices of today are the experts of tomorrow. Investing in their future ensures our continued success in the market,” says Kilian Vollmer, Head of Training at Karl Knauer. The introductory event held by the Chamber of Industry and Commerce gives apprentices the opportunity to develop their soft skills and consolidate core vocational skills relevant to their training. Alongside an introduction to business etiquette, the event also covers teamwork, project management and the consolidation of job-specific fundamentals.
Future prospects and career opportunities
As well as benefiting from comprehensive training, apprentices at Karl Knauer also have excellent chances of being taken on after successfully completing their vocational course. Many former apprentices now hold positions of responsibility within the company. The personal and professional development of employees plays a central role as they progress.
