Getting messages to stick
Sticky notes boost mailshot effect
How can a mailshot message be made to stick with the target group for as long as possible? What mechanisms are particularly effective in direct mailshots? “Sticky note products are becoming a real insider tip as an attachment and a boost for direct mailshots,” explained Frederik Zecheus, Key Account Manager at Karl Knauer KG, one of Germany’s leading promotional product specialists. “With an unprecedented level of variety and design flexibility, they can accentuate the brand messages or advertising claims of the particular mailshot. And they can do this in a sustainable and environmentally friendly way,” the promotional product expert added.
Boosting mailshots with sticky notes
If a direct mailshot is given additional value by adding a sticky note gift, the advert verifiably has a longer-lasting effect on the recipient. This is because the mailshot recipient will keep hold of the notes and use them in their daily (office) life. This may involve adhesive notepads or eye-catching marker sets, either with or without an envelope. Pre-made messages and reminders for the daily routine are particularly popular at the moment. They can be used as a friendly way to display information or even greetings.
Coronavirus boom for sticky notes
Right now, in the coronavirus pandemic, sticky notes are experiencing a real boom. More and more companies are using them as a quick and simple way to display information regarding disinfection and distancing rules. People are even using the “power stickies” as protective covers for the handles of shopping trolleys. Karl Knauer explains the enormous popularity of the sticky note segment as follows: “There is a huge demand in this segment at the moment because they are easy to make, can be produced at low cost, and the designs can be incredibly flexible.”
