Training to start at Karl Knauer KG

Impressive professional range at Karl Knauer

Anyone wanting to start an apprenticeship in Germany is currently faced with the choice of 326 recognised or recognised-as-valid training courses. The packaging specialist Karl Knauer, for example, shows that alongside the three perpetual top-rankers on the training hitlist of office clerks, automotive mechatronics technicians and retail clerks, there is also a range of interesting opportunities for starting a successful career right here in the region. 24 young talents are being trained in 13 different professional fields in this area alone.

“During the new apprenticeship year, eight new apprentices will start their careers with us. We are also currently training 24 young people within our company. We’re delighted that we were able to bring young talent into Karl Knauer this year as well”, says Markus Dilger, HR manager at Karl Knauer. This can certainly be attributed in part to the comprehensive trial range that Karl Knauer has been offering to students for years. With internships, holiday jobs and trial days, potential applicants can obtain a precise picture of the tasks and get a feel for whether the job really meets their own expectations. This is important in order for students to optimally use their own talents and strengths, and go on to successfully complete the training. “When it comes to the three training courses of print media technologist, packaging technologist and machine and plant operator, however, we still have one job each to offer for those who decide on the spur of the moment”, says Dilger.
