The Organic Electronic Association OE-A is a very active work group within the VDMA (German Association of Machine and Plant Manufacturers). It has members in Europe, USA and Asia. It was founded in 2004 as an international information and communication platform for companies and institutions actively using or involved in this technology. The goal of OE-A is to create a powerful infrastructure for manufacturing organic electronics. OE-A represents the entire organic electronics value-added chain; from the media manufacturer right through to the plant manufacturer as well as the producer and ultimately the user.
