As consumers, we encounter packages daily in a widest possible variety of areas and routine situations. Packages are considered a matter of course, but where would we be without packaging?

The packaging technology trainees in their second and third years of training at the Karl Knauer KG have taken on this question and designed and produced their own short film in which this question is answered impertinently and humorously. The film also demonstrates how a package is created and the diversity of the packaging technologist profession.

The “PACKAGINGMAN: Operation Folding Carton” video will premiere at this year’s professional information fair BIM held on the 11th +12th of May, 2012, at the trade fair grounds in Offenburg. The film will be presented to the public for the first time as a special highlight at the trade fair booth of the Karl Knauer KG.
