With the relaunch of its brand name product to help people quit smoking, GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) is bringing home the message that a smoke-free lifestyle is where it’s at. The packaging for the patches and lozenges positions them as premium products on OTC shelves. GSK’s packaging partner Karl Knauer enhanced the silver-foillaminated board with a special matt-gloss spot coating.
The resulting metallic effects give the images depth and underline the main message: Kick the nicotine habit! A handy flap helps to reclose the lid.
