Fifty million households around the world have sinks made by Franke in Bad Säckingen, Germany. To position its products in building supply and DIY markets, the market leader teamed up with Karl Knauer to search for attractive presentation possibilities. The challenge was to use a display to show prospective buyers the sinks and how easy they are to install. "We were thrilled by what Karl Knauer's developers came up with," says Lukas Ebner, international sales manager at Franke GmbH. The display consists of two pedestals holding a tabletop with a sink in a cutout and a box for leaflets.
Karl Knauer lived up to its reputation for full service with a complete offer. The accessories for each sink are separately packed in cartons and combined with the display in a single shipping unit. Instructions are included to enable simple setup in stores in just a few easy steps. "The concept has already paid off," says Ebner. "We have greatly surpassed our ambitious sales targets!"
