The candidates for the German packaging award 2009 are set. After a two-day jury meeting the 43 candidates from 271 submissions have been chosen. And once again the Karl Knauer KG is part of the party - this time even with two nominations.
One, for the realization of a folding box with automatic floor and integrate measuring cup that serves an outer packaging for a container, and two, for the development of a vending machine compatible folding box for granulates.. It is absolutely trickle-proof and is equipped with an original lock. Beyond that the vending machine packaging has two pouring opening with different dosage options that can each be opened and closed independently from each other. The pouring openings can be selected individually and defined in form and opening size depending on the product.
The German packaging award is awarded by the German packaging institute (dvi) since 1963 and is also the entrance ticket to the WorldStar, the international performance show of the packaging branch. The winners of the 32nd German packaging award will be announced on September 28th at the festive prize giving ceremony in the framework of the fair FachPack+PrintPack+LogIntern in Nuremberg.
