For this reason a notepad, a popular advertising medium, was premièred that in addition to customised ad design also contains access to an interactive game via an augmented reality app. In doing so, Karl Knauer KG is the first German folding box and ad media manufacturer to combine this new technology with conventional ad media like notepads, expertly blending established products from the real world with the fast-changing, fascinating virtual world and the Internet.
Karl Knauer KG customers can utilise ad media enhanced with their individual apps ideally at trade fairs, for promotional campaigns and in sales. Customers can download the customised app from their respective app stores via a QR code. Augmented reality apps are compatible with almost every smartphone or tablet PC. This brand new concept is the result of an exclusive collaboration between Karl Knauer KG and Visionsbox GmbH & Co. KG, the augmented reality specialists.
